Categorising your friends
How to categorise your friends (and why you would want to!)
In this blog, we will explain how to categorise your friends on the Fetching app, and why you would want to.
The first thing to note is that we send out a lot of notifications at Fetching - making sure that all of your friends know when you need help collecting your child from school.
However, Fetching is about more than just after-school pick ups.
We also have morning drop-offs, playdates and dogdates so we give you the opportunity to categorise your friends so that only relevant people get alerts. For example, you might only select friends with similar-age children to be alerted about your playdate requests. Alternatively, you might switch off 'drop-off' alerts for anyone that you know is unavailable in the mornings.
To categorise your friends, head to your friends screen and click on the profile picture of the friend you would like to categorise. Once their profile pops up, you can make adjustments by switching each category from green to grey and save the changes.
From the friends screen, you can see at a glance which categories each friend is in.
Open the Fetching app to start categorising.
